Plickers - Digital tool

In this post we are going to reflect about the use of the platform Plickers.

   

    Plickers:

Plickers is a tool that allows us to create documents and play with them in the classroom using cards. Here, we created a document about means of transportation:

 

We consider that this tool is very interactive and powerful to have classes out of the routine. Students will be excited to interact with a new platform and will enjoy the game. Finally, teachers have the possibility to take a step forward in their practices, including technology in their classes and taking advantage from the advantages that digital devices give.

Nowadays, it is possible to see that technology is everywhere: at home, in the streets, at work, at school... For that reason, institutions need to implement resources taking advantge of the advantages that technology offers to them. However, despite the fact that machines are part of our lifes, there is people who do not have acces to devices yet. Thus, in this blog we will discover if it is possible to carry out hyperdocs with our students. To begin, the school is placed in the locality of Puente Aranda, in Bogotá. In the classroom, it was easy to observe that every student has a smartphone, which means that they have access to technology. Additionally, the teacher mentioned that students will have to finish an activity they were doing online at home, which allowed us to know that they have resources at home to work with.
